This book was presented to the Collection by Mrs Irene Badsworth, in memory of her late husband. The price quoted is our estimate of its value.
The book is built around extracts, notably wonderful images, from the Daily Mirror Archive. It is a large format book, and the text is just enough to complement and explain the images, which really are the feature of the book.
And, it does truly address what happened both before and immediately after the outbreak of the war.
