Cannon fodder: an Infantryman's Life on the Western Front 1914-18

This book was presented to the Collection by Mrs. Irene Badsworth, in memory of her late husband. The price quoted is our estimate of its value. We choose personal accounts very carefully, because there are so many, and we can only carry a carefully selected few in the Collection. This is one of those, it is an account from someone serving in the ranks of the 1st Battalion London Scottish Regiment, who were the first Territorial troops to be sent to the Western Front, so it is this factor which makes the story a special one.
