This is the story of the Allied Intervention into the Russian Civil War, which saw 180,000 Allied soldiers in various parts of Russia. Two years after the Great War itself, the evacuation took place, following the Red Army victory. This left Russia more blood-stained and suspicious than ever, which attitude is still prevalent today, and can explain present troubles with Russia.
