Charles Fair (British)

Fair had a life-long interest in the British Army of the 1908-1945 era. His first book, "Marjorie's War: Four Families in the Great War" was published in 2012 and was based on a family archive of 800 letters and 400 photographs by family members. Fair's "day job" was as a consultant and researcher on command and control (C2) issues for a UK defence contractor. He was a third generation Territorial Officer. At the time of writing this he was writing his PhD on the selection and training of junior officers in the British Army at the Department of War Studies at KCL.
