Harvey was born in West Germany, and spent part of his childhood in Canada before returning to the UK. He was a graduate of the Universities of London, Cranfield and Birmingham.
His career was in financial services, and latterly in the management of an international business school.
His book on "An Army of Brigadiers" which we have in the Collection, was based on his PhD thesis at Birmingham.
